Pharmaceutical companies and allied advocacy groups have spent more than $250,000 in campaign contributions in West Virginia since 2006, while the state remains one of the top states in the nation with the most opioid prescriptions written each year. It doesn't stop there. The gas, energy and other large companies give millions to politicians to fund their campaigns , and influence their votes. I refuse to take Corporate money. I will work for the people not for corporations.
