PEIA and Raises for State Employees

Since 2017 Democrats have been fighting to fund PEIA. Democrats have been fighting for raises for teachers and public employees.

But WV has a Republican Trifecta. Our government is ruled by the House, the Senate and by Governor who are all Republican and all of which voted down PEIA funding.Every single Republican voted no.

They are saying we suddenly have an excess of 200, 000 in medicaid funds, they want to shift to other areas, and still not fund PEIA.

As your voice in the house I will continue to fight for PEIA funding, I will fight for free or affordable insurance for all WV citizens because I feel that health care should be a basic human right.
